FREDONIA, N.Y. — United Arts Appeal announces the launch of their 2013 fund drive in hopes that once again the community will open their checkbook for a good cause.
The United Arts Appeal consists of eight local arts organizations within Chautauqua County, including the Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet, the 1891 Fredonia Opera House, and the Lucille Ball Little Theater to name a few. The UAA hopes to raise around $60,000.
"For most organizations, ticket sales to events alone barely covers the cost of the event, let alone provide additional operation income, so United Arts Appeal funding is very important," said Rick Davis, United Arts Appeal President.
