Visitor restrictions at Kaleida Health facilities
WESTERN NEW YORK -- In an effort to try to reduce the spread of the flu, Kaleida Health Monday announced restrictions for visitors at its facilities in Western New York.
A spokesperson said Kaleida will only allow visitors age 14 and older, that have a valid visitor pass from the hospital front desk.
In addition, all patients can only have two visitors at a time.
These restrictions remain in place until medical staff determines that they are no longer necessary.
Catholic Health added similar restrictions at its hospitals and long-term care facilities last week.
