LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. — The Snow Bounders snowmobile club faces losing more trails that cross private property after some riders continue to disobey the rules.

The club has already lost permission from a few land owners because of littering and driving off-trail causing damage.

Club leaders say if more people attended the club meetings they would understand the consequences.

"If they don't get involved and they don't quit going off the trail, throwing their beer cans out, leaving busted snowmobile pieces behind and give the land owner some respect. I mean, if you see a land owner out there it'd be nice if you went through slow, give them a friendly wave. And if you know a land owner, thank them, you know, because without the land owner we have no trail system," said Max Gross, Snow Bounders board member.

The next meeting is at the Little Valley Legion at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
