Man convicted in deadly 2011 shooting
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man was convicted of murder Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting.
According to Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita, a jury found 24-year-old Darryl Jones of Buffalo guilty of two counts of second-degree murder, first-degree attempted robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon.
On December 5th, 2011, Jones shot 28-year-old Stephen Saunders in the back of a head during a robbery.
Jones faces 25 years to life in prison when he's convicted on March 26th.
