OLEAN, N.Y.-- The storm's brunt has been felt the most in New England, where a local basketball team was stuck for nearly a full day without any power.

The St. Bonaventure men's basketball team flew into Rhode Island on Thursday in front of the storm.

Power at the team’s hotel in Newport went out about 10 p.m. Friday.

The team, shown in these photos from the school, had to do without heat and power for about 20 hours before leaving the hotel for the game.

Team officials say players took it in stride - at least at first.

"Then when reality hit that all their electronics and cell phones were going to be hit because the battery power, then it hit them," said St. Bonaventure Sports Information Director Jason MacBain.

The Bonnies' game was pushed back from 2 p.m. to 7 due to the weather.

Rhode Island got a couple feet of snow from the storm.
