Sabres announce new program for last-minute tickets
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Sabres have announced the launch of a new program that allows fans to purchase last-minute tickets to home games, starting this week.

The Sabres Standby Programlets fans sign up for unused tickets beginning 48 hours before each home game.

Under the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, NHL teams are required to reserve an increased amount of tickets for players, league officials, and referees. Any unused tickets from those reserved seats will become available the day of each game. That includes tickets to games that were previously sold out.

Standby tickets will typically be given out the afternoon of home games, based on the order of registration.
