Two arrested in alleged Allegany County growing operation
CUBA, N.Y. — Two people in Allegany County face felony charges after police say they found drugs, weapons and cash inside their Town of Cuba home.
George Brown, 30, and Sybil Davis, 23, were arrested Wednesday after police executed a search warrant at their home on State Route 305.
Both face a variety of charges, including criminal possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say they found 61 marijuana plants in their home, along with packaged marijuana valued at $74,000.
Growing equipment was also seized, as well as cash, an assault rifle, and ammunition.
