Former Wyoming County SPCA Board President Sentenced
WYOMING COUNTY, N.Y. — There has been a ruling in the evidence tampering case against the former board president of the Wyoming County SPCA.

Janet Foisset received a conditional discharge. She must complete 75 hours of community service, pay a $205 surcharge, and have no involvement in any SPCA or animal rescue type of organization.

Foisset also can only care for animals she currently has in her possession and cannot take in any more animals.

Investigators found more than 500 cats in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions following a raid at the Wyoming County SPCA last February.

Former shelter director Susan Davila was also charged in the investigation with animal cruelty and tampering with evidence following the raid. She was found dead in her home in July.
