Man passes out in drive-thru, charged with DWI
HANOVER, N.Y.-- A Chautauqua County man who fell asleep in a car in a restaurant drive-thru lane faces DWI charges.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office charged 24-year-old Eladio Merced of Dunkirk with the crime. Deputies say he was asleep in his running car in a Tim Horton's drive-thru lane about 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
He was arraigned in Hanover Town Court and sent to the county jail.
