Buffalo State student says sexual assault claim was false
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police at Buffalo State College revealed Tuesday that a sexual assault claim made by a student over the weekend was false.
The female student claimed she was attacked early Saturday in Porter Hall.
She admitted Tuesday the crime didn't happen.
Police say all assault claims are taken seriously and encourage victims to report them.
