WEST SENECA, N.Y. --- Stryker has announced more than 100 people will be losing their jobs by the end of the year.

The medical device manufacturing company filed a notice with the state Friday that it will start laying off 107 employees at its West Seneca and Orchard Park sites beginning in September.

Layoffs will continue through December.

The company cited economic reasons for the layoffs.
